Description

Pack of real New York licence plates for GTA V



This pack comes in addon and replace. You can choose if replace all San Andreas and Yankton plates or keep them and add New York license plates as extra



License plates included in the pack:



New York Empire blue(2001-2010) - It replaces the Standard White

New York Statue of Liberty (1986-2003) - It replaces the White Plate 2

New York orange (1973-1986) - It replaces the Blue Plate

New York blue (1966-1973, 1972 sticker) - It replaces the Yellow Plate

New York Official - It replaces the SA Exempt

North Dakota - It replace Yankton Plate





Extra



New York Empire yellow (2010-2020)

New York Excelsior (2020-current)

New York Volunteer Firefighter



And the same plates as addon except North Dakota....



INSTALLATION



Extract the contents of this package to a convenient location of your choice such as the desktop.



For VESHARE.ytd : Using OpenIV in Edit Mode, navigate to GTA V\x64e.rpf\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf and replace vehshare.ytd with the one provided in this pack (only plates textures have been changed, rest stays untouched)



For CARCOLS.ymt: Using OpenIV in Edit Mode, navigate to GTA V\update\update.rpf\x64\data and replace carcols.ymt with the one provided in this pack.

Q: Can I use this mod in my own mod?

A: Yes, you can. It's free to use. Just give me credit.

Q: Can I convert your plates to a different format?

A: Sure, just give me credit.

Q: Can I convert your plates to another language?

A: Sure, just give me credit and send it to me so I can add it to the pack.

Q: Can I convert your plates to the same language, but with a different font? (Like the ones from ELS or Liberty City in GTA IV)

A: You can do that but you need my permission first.

Q: Do you have plans on making more New York plates? (Like North Dakota) Maybe even for other states/cities like Liberty/Vice City in GTA IV or San Andreas? Or maybe even some fictional plate from other games like The Last of Us or Watch Dogs 2's San Francisco plate? (I know those are not realistic but still) And also if you could make more fictional plates from games that would be great! :) Thanks! :)

A: I will probably create more plates in the future but because of a lot of requests from people that want me to add their state, city or fictional plate to the pack, I can't promise if I will make more plates for New York or another state/city. I'm sorry for that.

Q: Can you make a version without the numbers?

A: No. The reason is because this license plate mod uses real plates and it's not possible to remove the numbers on a real plate.

Q: Can you make a version with different colors? (Like black ones) Or more colors? (Like green and yellow) Also can you add other colors like blue, white and red (from GTA IV)? And maybe even purple, orange and grey? And also can you make light green ones as well (like in GTA V)? And maybe even red/blue stripes like in GTA IV but with different colors like yellow/green or black/grey? Thanks! :)

A: Sorry, but no. I won't add any extra colors or any other color than white and blue because it's not possible on a real plate.

Q: Can you add some dirt to them? They look too clean... Also can you add some scratches on them as well? Maybe even some rust on them as well? Thanks! :)
