Welcome to my first mod for Grand Theft Auto V! I made a custom
loading screen for GTA 5 based on the animation "The Dragon Prince".
YOU NEED: Obviously the GTA 5 and the latest version of OpenIV .
HOW TO INSTALL: It's very simple, just start your OpenIV go to mods folder (remember to create it before)=> update=> update.rpf=> x64=> data=> cdimages=> scaleform frontend.rpf and scaleform platform pc.rpf, copy the files that are inside of my mod's folder (To GTA 5 Folder), and drop the file
called "loadingscreen startup.ytd" to your scaleform frontend.rpf folder
and the "loadingscreen1/loadingscreen23.ytd" for your scaleform platform pc.rpf, just that! (Remember to backup the files!!!)
Update: version 1.1 was arrived! Now, you need to copy the file called "loadingscreen newgame.ytd" inside of my mod's folder to your scaleform frontend.rpf folder. Remember to create a backup! After this, go to the "textures" folder and copy the file called "frontend.ytd" to your GTA 5 textures folder. (mods=> update=> update.rpf=> x64=> textures)
All done!
Update 2: version 1.2 (final) was arrived! Now, you need to update the "loadingscreen newgame.ytd" and the "frontend.ytd". After this,
go to your mods folder (backup needed), x64=> audio=> sfx=> PROLOGUE.rpf and search for this file: "td loading music.awc". If you found, go to my mod's folder (To GTA 5 Folder), x64=> audio=> sfx=> PROLOGUE.rpf (OpenIV ) and choose one of the three files that are in these folders: "Because She's Rayla", "My Love, My Hope" and "Silvergrove". After this, just throw the choosed file in your PROLOGUE.rpf, all done!
BUGS AND FEATURES: No bugs was detected for now, but if you have any problems, do not hesitate to ask me to help you! (This is a 1.2 version.)
CREDITS: All credits go to "The Dragon Prince" (Netflix animation) and their creators: Aaron Ehasz and Justin Richmond. Other credit go to the Frederik Wiedmann, musical composer of this animation.
USED TOOLS: I used Photoshop 2020 and NVIDIA DDS Plugin to open DDS files. Paint.net was used too but only for tests and retouch. Audacity was used to open MP3 songs and convert them to WAV, 48000Hz, Mono.
